Prime Minister Morawiecki: If we do not “deputinize” Russia, we will lose our freedom

by Dignity News
“Thirty years ago, we all fell into blissful oblivion. The farther in the west, the easier it was to believe that the world would always be an oasis of peace. Meanwhile, in Moscow, work was underway to resurrect the demons of history. Today, the cursed demons of the 20th century have risen again over Ukraine”, writes Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and points out that today’s ideology of the “Russkiy Mir” is “the equivalent of 20th-century communism and Nazism and is a deadly threat to Europe.”

“The streets of Bucha, Irpin and Mariupol were flooded with the blood of the innocent. What is happening in Ukraine means the return of the damned ideologies. The irony of this story is that Putin built a new Russian imperialism based on the myth of victory over Nazism, and his propaganda describes the aggression against Ukraine as an operation to denazify that country”, writes Mateusz Morawiecki.

The Polish prime minister claims that Putin is more dangerous than Hitler and Stalin because “not only does he have more lethal weapons, but he also has new media at hand to spread his propaganda.”

According to Mateusz Morawiecki, “russkij mir” is a cancer that consumes not only the majority of Russian society, but is a deadly threat to the whole of Europe. In his opinion, it can only be defeated by “deputinizing” Russia, just as Germany was once de-Nazified. “If we fail to do so, then we will lose not only Ukraine but also “our soul, freedom and sovereignty”, because “Russia will not stop at Kyiv”, but will embark on a long march to the West”, says the Prime Minister.
