A state-of-the-art galvanising plant starts in Inowrocław

by Dignity News
As early as this month, a modern galvanising plant will be opened in Inowrocław by INOFAMA, a manufacturer of steel structures, which belongs to the ARP S.A. Capital Group. The facility, with a cubic capacity of 50,000 m3, is equipped with, among other things, a galvanising bath 7.5 m long and 3.5 m deep.

For INOFAMA, the new galvanising plant is a strong development impulse and an opportunity to improve its market position based on the latest industrial solutions. The ARP’s support is not only a financial aspect, but also high-quality management know-how, as well as an improvement in the living comfort of the local community – the modern galvanising plant will have as little impact on the environment as possible. “INOFAMA’s products will be manufactured in the best possible conditions, where environmental benefits will go hand in hand with taking care of high productivity, quality of work and increasing production”, says Cezariusz Lesisz, president of the Industrial Development Agency (ARP) S.A.

As Szczepan Ślusarz, president of INOFAMA S.A., pointed out, the investment was created from the very beginning with a view to improving the living comfort of the surrounding residents. Therefore, the building was equipped with acoustic insulation of the walls and vacuum systems to prevent the accidental escape of pollutants into the atmosphere.

The hot-dip galvanising plant previously in operation was built in 1976 with two process lines heated by electricity.

Immersion galvanising at the Inowrocław galvanising plant involves immersing suitably prepared steel elements in molten zinc in order to obtain a metallic zinc coating, as a result of the alloy diffusion process.

Applying anti-corrosive coatings is a pro-ecological activity due to the prolongation of the service life of steel components and, at the same time, allows for a reduction in emissions to the environment during steel production.
