There, they will receive information about their stay in Poland, meals, basic medical care, a place to rest and will be provided with temporary accommodation. Everyone has access to free medical care and Polish health care.

Mariusz Kamiński, Minister of Interior and Administration commented about providing shelter for every Ukrainian refugee on Sunday. At the press conference, the minister also addressed the Ukrainians fighting against the Russian invasion.

The head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration added that Ukraine is fighting for its freedom and independence and Poles fully understand this fight. “It is also a fight to defend our freedom. We bow our heads before the Ukrainian heroes – said the minister.

Kamiński assessed that Poland is facing a challenging test in solidarity. “We have to help at every level. The state includes not only the government but also local governments and citizens. The situation is very difficult and requires maximum action and such actions are being carried out”, assessed up the head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration.
