Success of the Polish Science Day at Expo 2020 in Dubai

by DignityNews.eu
Over 15,000 people visited the Polish pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai during the Polish Science Day. This is one of the best results since the opening of the entire event. Long lines, crowds of visitors, flattering reviews are the best proof of the success of the event.

Each event of the Polish Science Day program drew a tremendous interest. The youngest audience participated in workshops and shows arranged by the Copernicus Science Center and a meeting with Dr Tomasz Rożek, who presented the game “Academy of Super Heroes” about outstanding Polish scientists as superheroes.

Older audience appeared at the concert of Dr Szymon Musiał, vice-rector for student affairs and teaching at the Academy of Music in Poznań. The program of the performance included works by Ignacy Jan Paderewski and Fryderyk Chopin, the most famous Polish composers in the world.

The core of the Polish pavilion in Dubai is the exhibition “POLAND THE HEART OF EUROPE”, which in a modern, multimedia way tells guests about the history of Polish medicine and its contribution to the development of this field in the world. A hologram of the heart turned out to be a particularly interesting element for the visitors.

Prof. Tomasz Pietrzykowski, the chairman of the board of the National Academic Exchange Agency, emphasized that such a popularity of the Polish pavilion shows that science is Polish best export product. He hopes that this success will allow presenting the achievements of Polish scientists in the world more often during such events.
