Sasin claims business to not focus on profit today, but to look for socially acceptable solutions

“In these difficult times, when Poles are struggling with rising prices of fuel, energy, and interest on loans, I am asking companies not to focus mainly on profit, but to look for socially acceptable solutions. This is not the time to maximize profits” – said Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of State Assets Jacek Sasin during Congress 590.

The 7th Congress 590 is held under the slogan “We unite all”. The leading topic is the international cooperation of the Three Seas countries.

In the opinion of Deputy Prime Minister Sasin, the cooperation of Central and Eastern European countries is a guarantee of security and energy independence, especially now, when Russia is using energy resources as a weapon against Europe. The head of the Ministry of State Assets is convinced that the construction of gas terminals in Świnoujście, Gdańsk and Klaipeda will serve the entire Three Seas region and will give them energy independence.

Only together we are able to respond to dangers and compete effectively with the largest players in the world. This awareness cemented the cooperation of the Three Seas countries, he said.

The Deputy Prime Minister stated that in recent years Poland has been dynamically investing in communication infrastructure and today has a network of modern expressways, motorways and increasingly better local government roads.

°We do not differ from the infrastructure of Western European countries°, said Sasin and added that today we have many advantages to encourage investors to come to Poland.

Jacek Sasin added that for over 7 years Poland has been taking steps to become independent of Russian raw materials. As an example, he mentioned investments by companies such as Orlen, KGHM or Enea in renewable energy sources and nuclear energy.
