Prime Minister Morawiecki to meet conservative groups at the summit in Madrid

by DignityNews.eu

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will take part on January 28-29 in a meeting of leaders of European conservative and right-wing parties. The main topics of the talks that will take place in Madrid are the fight against depopulation, defense of the energy sovereignty of European countries and defense cooperation.

The meeting will be held under the slogan: “Defend Europe” and will start on Friday, January 28 with a joint dinner of the party leaders. Two working sessions are planned for Saturday, hosted by the leader of the Spanish right-wing Vox party, Santiago Abascal.

The summit in Madrid is a continuation of the December summit in Warsaw.

The leader of the Vox party emphasized that the purpose of this meeting is to continue the work started during the Warsaw summit, i.e. to defend Europe against external and internal threats, to promote an alternative that confronts the globalist drift that threatens the European Union, attacking the sovereignty of nations.

At the beginning of July 2021, members of right-wing conservative groups present in the European Parliament signed a joint ideological declaration. The declaration was signed by: PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński, president of the Brothers of Italy Giorgia Meloni, president of the Spanish Vox Santiago Abascal, president of Fidesz Viktor Orban, president of the League, Matteo Salvini, and representatives of a dozen other center-right parties.
