by DignityNews.eu

At the XXIV Winter Olympics in Beijing, the Polish national team is wearing a collection of outfits prepared especially for this occasion by the Polish brand 4F. The company has dressed not only the Polish national team but also seven national teams from Slovakia, Lithuania, Greece, Croatia, Latvia, Serbia and Portugal, as well as Polish, Slovak and Croatian Paralympics.

According to OTCF, the owner of the 4F brand, the work on preparing the collection lasted over three years. The men’s and women’s collections consist of 51 items each (including clothing, accessories and shoes) for various occasions: costumes for the opening ceremony, competition outfits and sets for training or everyday use. The third part of the collection consists of recycled materials (processed coffee beans or processed consumer waste). The Polish Olympic Committee’s garments are made of material with 36% recycled fibers.

Igor Klaja, president of OTCF S.A., owner of the 4F brand is proud that 4F became a part of the Olympic family and can support Polish athletes in the fight for medals. „4F is a Polish brand and supporting our representatives is particularly important to us. In such difficult times and circumstances of the pandemic, the Olympic athletes need special support and a warm atmosphere from the fans. We keep our fingers crossed for Polish sportsmen and sportswomen”.

It is worth noting that 8 committees dressed in the 4F uniforms participated in last year’s Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Apart from Poles, they were also athletes from Lithuania, Greece, Croatia, North Macedonia, Latvia, Slovakia and Serbia, as well as Polish and Latvian Paralympics.
