According to entrepreneurs, the biggest problems in running a business in the past year were difficulties in recruiting employees with appropriate qualifications (56.1%), high energy prices (52.6%) followed by high tax and para-tax burdens (51.2%) and too frequent changes in regulations (38.6%).

Marek Goliszewski, founder and president of Business Center Club emphasized that despite the difficult economic situation in 2021, the vast majority of surveyed entrepreneurs (73.6 %) considered the conditions of their companies in the past year to be very good or good. Not many entrepreneurs (over 3.5%) found it bad, and almost 23% as moderate.

Over 61% entrepreneurs believe that the situation of their companies will remain similar in 2022 while 17.5% are afraid of a significant deterioration, and more than 20% are confident of a significant improvement next year.

The survey was conducted among 2,000 managers and business owners – members of the Business Center Club.
