According to the Hays Poland report presented on the Money.pl portal, in 2022, three out of four employers in Poland are expecting an increase in the employees’ wages, as only 3% companies are anticipating to reduce wages-. The scale of increases will be similar to the last year’s, when 71% of companies and institutions among organizations included in the study planned pay rises, although only 57% had had such plans in the previous year.

95% of employers are expecting to recruit new employees this year as 46% of them expect that the number of recruitment processes will be greater than last year.

The most frequent reason for planned recruitment indicated by employers is a business development and the need to recruit new employees, often with unique competences. In the second place (33% of responses), it is a need to find a replacement for employees who decided to leave, and in the third place (9%) – structural changes.

The report emphasizes that employers intend to recruit specialists in IT (40% of companies), sales (30%), finance and accounting (26%) customer service and production (25% each). The year 2022 will be a continuation of the trend of high recruitment activity of companies, however, those plans may be verified by new waves of pandemic restrictions.

The Hays Payroll Report summarizes the salary levels offered to professionals and managers in over 450 positions. It takes into account the perspective of companies including almost 5,000 organizations operating in Poland and the perspective of employees and candidates – over 5,200 people.
