First Lady Agata Duda appeals to women all over the world to organize action against the war

President Andrzej Duda’s wife spoke about Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. The First Lady made an appeal to women from all over the world for one symbolic gesture. “We cannot remain indifferent to the war in Ukraine”, said Agata Duda.

The First Lady has asked women from all over the world for a gesture of support encouraging them to take part in the action organized on March 8, 2022. This day, international Women’s Day celebrated worldwide is an opportunity to demonstrate opposition to the invasion in Ukraine and an attempt to convince Russian society to stop the war.

Let us take this special occasion to address all women in Russia with an appeal to stop the ongoing war in Ukraine. Let us ask them for peace and life, as mother, wife and daughter of Russian officers and soldiers participating in the invasion in Ukraine, to act on their holiday against further bloodshed”, appealed Agata Duda.

She is encouraging women from all over the world to publish their photos on social media on March 8, with the text #RosyjskieKobietyZatrzymajcieWojnę or #RussianWomanStopTheWar. According to the First Lady, in this way, women from all over the world will be able to break through Russian censorship. The message about stopping the war should reach Russian women.

At the end of her message published on the Internet, the President’s wife emphasized that together women can do a lot. “I believe that women can really stop the war in Ukraine”, added Agata Duda.
