Cezary Gróbarczyk, a secretary of state at the Ministry of Infrastructure, announced in his post on Twitter that this year similar investment is planned to be started also in Świnoujście, so Poland will ultimately have two such Agroports.

The ports will export fruit, vegetables, meat and import fertilizers to Poland. Established by the minister of agriculture, a company called Agroport SA will invest a total of PLN 500 million from the state budget in each of these two locations.

Controlled by the Polish company OT Logistics, the large grain warehouse already operates in the port of Świnoujście. In Gdańsk, the same company was also supposed to construct an agro terminal, but withdrew from the investment. It was planned to be built directly at the Ore Pier in the Northern Port. The area returned to the Port of Gdansk, which announced in October that its measure objective is to find a long-term leaseholder. The Gdańsk Agroport will probably be built in this location.

In June last year, following the publication of the assumptions of the new Polish Order program, the Polish Association of Cereal Producers asked Jarosław Kaczyński, the President of Law and Justice party, to support efforts to construct and launch a modern grain port.
