The Polish Council of Entrepreneurs (PRP), which will be an advisory body to the Employers of Poland, held its first meeting on Tuesday, January 29. It is to be responsible for transparent dialogue with the government and social partners, and to strive to build a strong, innovative, and sustainable future for Poland. InPost Group founder Rafal Brzoska has been appointed chairman of the PRP.

“The Polish Council of Entrepreneurs is to be a leading force in the transformation process, guiding the Polish economy into a future based on innovation, sustainable development and a strengthened position on the international stage”, said Rafal Brzoska. He stressed that the Council’s activities will focus on supporting expansion and strengthening the competitiveness of Polish companies with a view to their participation in the global market.

“We focus on initiatives that will help companies to conquer new markets, build partnerships and strengthen their position on the global business stage. We are committed to ensuring that Polish companies are recognized abroad as innovative, reliable and competitive entities – which will contribute to both increasing their value and promoting Poland as an attractive economic partner”, Brzoska added.

Rafał Dutkiewicz, president of the Employers of Poland, stressed that Polish business has the right potential to become a driving force for the country’s economic and social development.

“I believe that the establishment of the Polish Council of Entrepreneurs is a step towards building strong cooperation between entrepreneurs and the government. This is an extremely important initiative aimed at strengthening the role of entrepreneurs and employers in shaping economic policy”, said Dutkiewicz.

The main goals of the PRP are: Transparent Social Dialogue; Predictability and Clarity of Laws; Efficient and Fair Tax System; Support for Polish Companies Abroad; Capital Cooperation between Government and Business; Poland’s Economic Power in Europe; Smart Immigration Programs; Science-Business Cooperation; Leveling the Playing Field for Polish Companies; Green Energy and Electromobility.
