US Vice President expresses gratitude to Poles for their amazing generosity and kindness

The US vice president also stressed that the US commitment to the implementation of Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty is “ironclad”. An attack on one is an attack on all”, she said.

President Andrzej Duda said after the meeting that he asked the vice president of the USA for support for the refugees reaching Poland, Also, the president asked for acceleration of “possible programs for the purchase of American equipment for the Polish army.”

The Polish president also noted the effectiveness of the US sanctions against Russia and thanked for the attitude of the US authorities. „The United States is absolutely in the vanguard of these sanctions, and it must be made clear that these sanctions work”, said Duda.
