Several thousand employees of the Polish Oil and Gas Mining (PGNiG) will participate in defense training. The Polish Post and the State Forests intend to introduce similar solutions.
Paweł Majewski, the president of the PGNiG company, initiated the training of employees. He intends to increase the pro-defense competences, the efficiency in crisis situations and the sense of security of the staff.
The training program will also include obligatory cybersecurity classes for managerial staff, obligatory first aid and crisis response courses.
For a group of PGNiG managers, there are voluntary shooting ranges and courses on dealing with weapons.
The spokesman of the State Forests, Michał Gzowski, informed that due to the fact that almost 30,000 foresters are in fact people underarms, the improvement of their skills is of a slightly different nature.
He revealed that for two years in the shooting center of the State Forests in Tuchola, defense training has been conducted by officers of the Territorial Defense Forces. Now this training will be decentralized, and specialist instructors will also train the foresters in the regional centres of the State Forests.
