In the opinion of PZPM President Jakub Farys, the European Parliament’s decision on CO2 reduction for passenger vehicles and vans and the European Commission’s proposal for heavy goods vehicles reassures the automotive industry that 2035 will be the cut-off year since when it will not be possible to register vehicles other than battery- and hydrogen-powered passenger vehicles and vans, and the CO2 reduction for heavy vehicles must be 65%.
