Portal for entrepreneurs in the defence sector launched to ensure better promotion of Polish products

by DignityNews.eu

The Ministry of Development and Technology (MRiT) has launched a portal for entrepreneurs in the defence sector. Companies can find information about industrial fairs there, as well as submit their business cards. As the deputy head of the MRiT, Grzegorz Piechowiak, stressed, the portal will allow Polish products to be better promoted.

“The international situation is causing the growth of importance of the defence sector, which is why we have prepared a new portal for this industry”, said the Ministry of Development and Technology.

On the website www.polishdefenceindustry.gov.pl, entrepreneurs will find practical information useful in their business, including webinars, industrial fairs and other important events in the country and the world. Each company in the industry will be able to submit a business card with its data, which will help potential foreign partners to establish contacts.

Polish entrepreneurs will also be able to find information there, e.g. about the European Defence Fund (EDF) and other EU instruments for the development of the defence sector or mechanisms for the development of defence innovations in the European Union.

“We have created this portal to present the offers of Polish entrepreneurs from the defence sector to potential foreign partners. Thanks to this, we will be able to better promote the export of Polish products. We also want to expand cooperation of the Polish defence sector within the European Defence Fund”, emphasised Deputy Minister Grzegorz Piechowiak.

The website is available in Polish, English and French. The Ministry announces that further language versions in Ukrainian, Spanish and Arabic will soon be prepared. “This will make international cooperation possible for Polish enterprises and facilitate contact between foreign companies wishing to establish cooperation with Polish partners”, says the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
