Nearly 20 Polish companies representing the space and aerospace industry, as well as government entities, including the Polish Space Agency (POLSA) and local government bodies, will participate from 28 February to 5 March 2023 in Avalon 2023 – the Australian International Airshow Aerospace and Defence Exposition. 

Avalon 2023 is a global business and defence event, attracting senior decision makers from the civil aerospace and defence, military, and government industries from around the world, taking place at Avalon Airfield in the Australian state of Victoria. 

Avalon 2023 will feature both global giants and regional leaders of the broader aerospace industry. For Polish companies, it is an opportunity to establish new business contacts and promote products and services. This will be possible primarily at the Polish stand created for this purpose. 

Another opportunity to build business relations will be a meeting with Australian companies as part of the ‘Polish Australian Roundtable’, organised by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade). Businesspeople will also be able to participate in a number of co-curricular events organised by Australian public institutions, which are intended to introduce the specifics of a given industry, e.g. space or aviation.

Representatives of the Polish Space Agency will also meet with Australian government entities responsible for shaping the space sector: Australian Space Agency (ASA), South Australian Space Industry Centre (SASIC) and Defence South Australia.

The organisers of the Polish economic mission to Australia include Polish Space Agency, Polish Investment and Trade Agency, Marshal’s Office of Podkarpackie Voivodeship and City of Rzeszów, and partners: Aviation Valley Cluster and Pomerania Development Agency.
