Polish president to visit Great Britain

by Dignity News
On Thursday, April 7 in London, President Andrzej Duda will meet with the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Boris Johnson. The main topics of the talks will be Ukraine and Polish-British military cooperation.

Paweł Soloch, the head of the National Security Bureau said that Great Britain, along with the USA, is one of the countries particularly committed to helping Ukraine. “Our military cooperation also has a deeper dimension. President Andrzej Duda will talk these issues in London as well as the Miecznik frigates construction and Narew air defense programs”, says Soloch.

The head of the presidential International Policy Bureau, Jakub Kumoch, emphasizes that the visit is the result of last week’s telephone conversation between the two leaders, initiated by Prime Minister Johnson.

It is recalled that on February 10 this year, Andrzej Duda and Boris Johnson met in Warsaw and after the talks, they emphasized that “Poland and Great Britain have a very clear and close position on security issues”.

“Poland and Great Britain are countries that practically do not differ in assessment of the situation around Ukraine, both are supporters of deterrence, strong reaction, and they approach the security structure in Europe very responsibly. It is a meeting of two countries that understand each other perfectly”, commented Minister Jakub Kumoch on the British Prime Minister’s February visit.
