Polish company Amica to enter the American market

by Dignity News
Jacek Rutkowski, President of the Management Board of Amica said that since 2021 the company has been prepared to enter the US market and its certification process is ongoing. “I think that this year, in the fourth quarter, we will start selling in the USA”, said Rutkowski.

The Amica Group wants to sell free-standing cookers, stoves and cooker hoods on the American market. It is possible that the offer will be expanded with ovens. Within a few years, the company wants to achieve a turnover of several dozen million USD, and thus compensate for the losses on the Russian market.

The head of the company reminded that, due to the increase in costs, including materials, Amica increased prices from January 1, 2022. Rutkowski also did not hide that he was planning another increase in the middle of the year.

“The year 2021 started with sudden turbulences in the raw materials markets and a several-fold increase in freight costs. Amica was able to largely compensate for these cost increases, as evidenced by the final result. However, 2022 will be a great challenge for the company. Also, due to the fact that the raw material markets have become even more unpredictable, the consequences of the ongoing war in Ukraine are at present indefinable. However, I think that Amica proved more than once in the past that it can find solutions even during the most difficult crises”, said Jacek Rutkowski.

The Amica Group is a leading European manufacturer of home appliances with over 70 years of experience. Its offer includes a full range of smart appliances of large and small household appliances, with many useful solutions, the latest technology and modern design.
