Polish multienergy company Orlen and the Central Military Recruitment Centre (CWCR) are starting cooperation, which will include planning and defence, training, and personnel development activities. The agreement signed by the partners will enhance Poland’s security.
“Orlen is a company of strategic importance to Poland’s fuel, energy and economic security. The cooperation of our institutions will focus on the protection of facilities important for national security and defence, logistics and personnel development”, said Patrycja Klarecka, responsible for digital transformation in the company’s management board.
The CWCR is the institution that coordinates and oversees recruitment activities and operational and defence matters. According to the Homeland Defence Act of April 2022, the CWCR is responsible for, among other things, planning and administering the resources of personnel reserves in each state of state defence readiness, and in-kind reserves – related to defence benefits.
“With the support and participation of the Orlen Group, we would like to promote military service as widely as possible. Undoubtedly, the main source of cooperation for us will be the implementation of operational-defence tasks and I sincerely hope that the agreement signed today will meet this goal and will enable us to carry out tasks in this area flawlessly”, said the head of the CWCR, Brig. Gen. Mirosław Bryś.
