Registration for startups in the next Infoshare Startup Contest will last until 1 March 2024. The best will win a total of €30,000 in cash and spread their wings under the guidance of Sebastian Kulczyk’s InCredibles.
This year’s competition, like last year, is aimed at start-ups implementing one of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The jury will evaluate the candidates primarily on the basis of their innovation, but also through the prism of their positive impact on society and the environment.
The best start-ups will present themselves to international VC funds and investors associated with Simpact Ventures or Smart Impact Capital, among others, as well as representatives of global corporations during the largest technology conference in Gdansk. Around 200 of them come to Infoshare every year, which is a unique chance for entrepreneurs to stand out in the crowd and gain the support necessary for further development.
The total prize pool in the competition is €30,000 in cash, funded by the Mayor of the City of Gdansk. The winners will be announced at the Infoshare conference in May.
From among the 20 best startups selected in the semi-finals of the Startup Contest, one will be chosen to be invited to participate in the 8th InCredibles – a mentoring programme for young entrepreneurs with vision created by Sebastian Kulczyk.
The prestigious group of InCredibles already includes more than 50 companies, including SunRoof Technology, Infermedica, Therapify, as well as FibriTech – participants of the 2021 Startup Contest. Last year, they were joined by startup AI4SKIN – participant of the 2023 Startup Contest. The InCredibles programme consists of several months of individualised, free support by Polish and foreign mentors – recognised founders, investors, advisors, and specialists in the fields of management, sales and marketing, strategy, communication, financing and HR.
