The Ministry of Defense announced that Minister of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak would sign the contract for the supply of Gladius unmanned search and attack systems. The contract provides for the supply of drones that can carry anti-tank weapons as well as a training and logistics package.
The contract between the Armaments Agency and WB Electronics provides for the delivery of four battery modules for Gladius unmanned find – and – strike systems. The battery-powered module will consist of launchers, command vehicles, ammunition and maintenance vehicles, as well as a supply of Gladius unmanned aerial vehicles.

The system will be integrated with the Topaz fire control system used by the Polish military.

The Gladius program assumes the purchase of drones capable of fighting stronger armored targets compared to the Warmate drones supplied so far which is a platform that can be used for reconnaissance and as a “suicide” drone. The Warmate circulating ammunition and FlyEye reconnaissance drones produced by the WB group have been used by the Ukrainian armed forces for many years.
