Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Culture and National Heritage Prof. Piotr Gliński said to be proud to host Ukrainian musicians in Poland. “The Kyiv Symphony Orchestra has come to Poland and will be preparing for the European tour. Some musicians came here with their families, they have a guaranteed stay in Poland and the possibility of rehearsals”. He emphasized that the performance of the Ukrainian orchestra led by an Italian conductor is the best proof of how European culture needs all the bricks that make up European identity.
Over 100 musicians, orchestra employees and their families came to Poland to prepare in cooperation with the National Philharmonic and the National Institute of Music and Dance to play the concert for the first time since the beginning of the war. The stay of Ukrainian musicians and their families in Poland is financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
