The fourth free military training project will start on Saturday 9 September. The classes, under the slogan “Train with the army – alone and in a group” will last until the end of October.
The Polish Army is inviting individual volunteers but above all groups to join. They can be of any milieu – offices, associations, unions, workplaces, companies, clubs, etc. All will be welcome in our military units.
“I encourage groups to take part in the training, but individual volunteers are also welcome. The ‘Train with the Army’ project is a unique opportunity to benefit from the knowledge and skills of our military instructors”, wrote Minister of National Defence Mariusz Błaszczak on Twitter.
For 8 weeks, every Saturday, military instructors will familiarise those willing to participate with the basics: weapon handling, survival principles, close combat, medical assistance, behaviour during an alarm and much more. You can register for the 8-hour training at any time and in any way you like – all you need is your name, age and contact. The organisers provide professional training, insurance, food, but also great Saturday entertainment and adventure with the Polish Army.
The first training sessions are scheduled for Saturday 9 September. They will be held in Poznań (at the Land Forces Training Centre), in Rzeszów (at the 21st Sub-Highland Rifle Brigade), in Wesoła (at the 1st Warsaw Armoured Brigade) and in Zegrze (at the NCO School SONDA). A detailed training schedule is available on the websites of the commands and military units.
“Train with the Army” is a basic, short, free, professional military training. To date, almost 20,000 Poles have taken part in the classes. More than 98 % of participants are satisfied with their attendance at the training and indicate that it has met their expectations. And 99 % intend to recommend it to their relatives and friends.
