The Federation of Polish Culture is launching its activities under the slogan “We are joined by culture”. Its aim is to bring together foundations, associations and enterprises which are committed to continue developing Polish culture, based on a stable foundation of traditional values. The main objective of the organisation is to integrate communities involved in culture in the broad sense of the word and to actively support them.
Organisations that have already made a real contribution to culture in various areas of life are invited to join the Federation. Its members can count on a number of benefits – e.g. access to training, support for leaders, participation in meetings networking cultural organisations or participation in the Congress of Polish Culture, which is planned for the third quarter of 2023.
“The Federation of Polish Culture aims to integrate and support various communities working for culture in all areas of life. We understand culture not only through art, but also through education, upbringing, attitudes to life, to values, to other people and to work, which make up our cultural code. The foundation of the Federation is to take care of the ideals through which Poland was founded. We have over a thousand years of history and values of which we should be proud. We want to promote them and focus our activities on them”, says Andrzej Dubiel, one of the originators of the Federation.
One of the main motives for establishing the Federation of Polish Culture is the feeling of responsibility for the shape of Polish culture and the desire for it to be rooted in the values that created it, while at the same time marking the way forward.
“We dream of a space that will unite contemporary initiatives for culture and the heritage created in Poland over a thousand years. The Federation is to be such a place, bringing together past, present and future generations”, announces Andrzej Sobczyk, co-creator of the project.
