Enea building new photovoltaic farms

by Dignity News
Enea Nowa Energia has started construction of photovoltaic farms in Krzęcin, Lubno and Lików. At the same time, the PV farm in Jastrowie is nearing completion. The planned capacity of the farms will total approximately 15.5 MW. All installations will start work this year.

The largest of the photovoltaic farms under construction – Krzęcin is located in the commune of Krzęcin in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It will have a total capacity of approximately 6.5 MW and will consist of seven photovoltaic generators. The Likowo photovoltaic farm in the Płoty commune (West Pomeranian Voivodeship) will have approximately 1 MW of capacity. The Lubno I and II farms will be built in the Lubiszyn commune (Lubuskie Voivodeship). They will consist of over 9,000 modules that will provide a total of 5 MW of power.

“The updated Enea Group Development Strategy provides for the implementation of a number of RES projects of various scales but all of them support the main goal of achieving climate neutrality. From year to year, we will consistently increase the production potential of renewable energy sources” announced Paweł Szczeszek, CEO of Enea.

At the same time, in Jastrowie, a town in the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship, the last works on the construction of a 3 MW photovoltaic farm are underway. The installation will consist of 7.5 thousand panels made in the Si-Mono technology and is an example of good cooperation between Enea Nowa Energia and the local government.

The launch of the farm in Jastrowie is planned for the first quarter of this year, and the farm in Krzęcin, Płoty and Lubiszyn in the second half of 2022. The general contractor for the investment in Jastrowie is Enea Serwis.

“New investment projects of Enea Nowa Energia are in line with the Development Strategy of the Enea Capital Group until 2030 with the perspective until 2040. It is also an example of very good cooperation between our Group and local authorities. Considering the positive talks with other local governments, I am convinced that in the near future we will be implementing many projects based on business-administration relations,” adds Krzysztof Czaban, CEO of Enea Nowa Energia.
