For the sixth time, Bank Pekao S.A. has received the prestigious “The Best Trade Finance Provider in Poland” award from Global Finance magazine. This international ranking assesses knowledge of local economic conditions, a keen sense of customer needs and innovation in products and services. The winners are the financial institutions that best meet the specific needs of companies operating in international markets.

Global Finance is a magazine aimed at managers responsible for making investment and strategic decisions. The title ‘The Best Trade Finance Provider in Poland’ is awarded considering the opinions of specialised business analysts, corporate executives, and technology experts. The editors also consider materials and information submitted by financial service providers, as well as independent research.

Bank Pekao S.A. has for years been the leader of the Polish banking sector in trade finance. Since November last year, we have also had the so-called Single European Passport, thanks to which we are able to support the expansion of our companies in foreign markets even more effectively. As Piotr Stolarczyk, director of the International Banking and Trade Finance Department at Bank Pekao S.A., adds, international trade is often exposed to macroeconomic and political turbulence, so it is important for banks to prepare tailor-made products to facilitate international cooperation.
