The website pracawpolsce.gov.pl is available in Polish, Ukrainian and English. The website was developed as part of the pro bono activities of foreign partners to support people from Ukraine. The prerequisite for creating an account is having a PESEL number.
“Any person can easily get a PESEL number at any municipal office and thus use this system. I would like to remind the public that so far more than 600 thousand adult citizens of Ukraine already have this PESEL number”, said Secretary of State for Digitalisation of the Prime Minister’s Office and Government Plenipotentiary for Cyber Security Janusz Cieszyński.
The portal’s creators, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, have planned a media campaign to promote the portal. Information about the service will be widely available in the Ukrainian media. Ukrainian-speaking influencers have also joined the cooperation. The creation of the portal was thanked by the charge d’affaires of Ukraine in Poland Oleh Kuts, who noted that it is a reliable source of information on job offers for Ukrainians.
