Record year for ORLEN Parcels

by Dignity News
The volume of parcels delivered in the Orlen Paczka service increased by 70% in 2023, and the number of deliveries to parcel machines increased by almost 240%. This is a result of, among other things, the dynamic development of the vending machine network, which increased by more than 2,500 machines last year.

Thanks to partnerships with the largest trading platforms, in 2023 ORLEN Paczka started to handle shipments not only in Poland, but also to other Central European countries. For 2024, ORLEN Paczka has plans to further develop its services, acquire new partners, and strengthen its position on the e-commerce market.

More than 90 % of ORLEN Paczka customers rate the quality of the service as very good. Last year, it was on the podium in terms of the quality of parcel machine deliveries, according to the Gemius report “E-commerce in Poland 2023″. The brand continues to attract new customers and is dynamically strengthening its position on the e-commerce market – one of the fastest growing retail segments in Poland. „We are not slowing down this year either. We have an intensive period of investments ahead of us, including in logistics, which will allow us to pursue further goals in line with our development strategy”, says Bartosz Bielak, Member of the Management Board of Ruch S.A., the logistics operator of ORLEN Paczka.

ORLEN Paczka is currently one of the most dynamically growing networks of pick-up points in Poland. Parcels under the service are already delivered to 10.5 thousand points, including more than 4,500 parcel machines. The number of the latter increased by as much as 125 per cent in 2023. ORLEN Paczka collection points are already located in almost 3/4 of Polish cities.

ORLEN Paczka’s counterparties include the largest shopping platforms, such as Allegro and Vinted, with which strategic partnerships are being developed.

“In 2024, we will finalise talks with further large retail chains. In this way, we are expanding our customer base. Market analyses indicate that in 2026 the gross value of the Polish e-commerce market will be at 162 billion PLN. This means an average annual growth of 12 %”, explains Bartosz Bielak.
