Polish Army playing with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. Dinner with a minister to be auctioned

The grand finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP) is getting closer and closer. The Polish Army is inviting bidders to bid for an invitation to a dinner in the soldiers’ canteen with Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of National Defence, as well as a special – personal invitation from the Minister to participate in the celebrations of the Polish Army Day, informs the Ministry of National Defence.

The 32nd Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity will take place on 28 January. The army is putting up for auction what is most interesting and what is more difficult to find. They include not only unique items such as coins and gorgets of commanders or military insignia and badges, but also attractive adventures.

Bidders will be able to win parachute jumping, going to sea on a ship, training with special forces soldiers, a flight in a military aircraft, a tank ride, training on a modern simulator, military scuba diving, training with military Olympic athletes, spending a day at a military stud farm, a unique tour of Warsaw, and much more.

The military is preparing attractions in dozens of locations across Poland. On 27 and 28 January, a military zone will be rolled out in Warsaw, where everyone will be able to talk to soldiers, see some military equipment, eat military pea soup and learn the basics of medical assistance.

In Gdynia, the Naval Academy will organise a sports and recreation day, the Dęblin Air Force Military Academy and the Warsaw Military University of Technology will host charity concerts by military orchestras.

The Museum of the Polish Army in Warsaw and the Museum of the Polish Navy are inviting the public to military and historical picnics. Military units are joining local WOŚP zones in dozens of places in Poland – including Opole, Poznań, Łomża, Nowy Dwór Maz., Koszalin, Olsztyn, Elbląg, Mińsk Mazowiecki., Gołdap, Będzin, Suwałki and many others. The orchestra will also play on missions abroad.
