The InPost Group has launched airport Paczkomat machines at the airports in Wrocław and Katowice, and thus the new cities have joined the airport in Warsaw, where the InPost Paczkomat was introduced in August last year.
Paczkomat machines at the airport serve passengers when they have an item in their luggage that cannot be taken on board the plane. To use InPost’s solution, simply pack such an item and use the InPost Mobile app to send the parcel. Thanks to this, valuable items will not end up in the bin, but will be safely returned to their owner. A parcel machine at the airport allows for domestic shipment to another InPost machine or by courier to a specified address.
“We are known for creative solutions. The parcel machine in Warsaw has proved to be a hit and is hugely popular. It is therefore no surprise that other airports wanted to join this project. Our solutions are designed to make life easier for customers in everyday situations. I am pleased that Wrocław and Katowice Airports have decided to implement this service. We are proud that our solutions contribute to the comfort of travel and eliminate the stress of having to dispose of valuables”, said InPost’s expansion office director Waldemar Brzoska.
Wrocław and Katowice Airports are the next airports in Poland, after Warsaw Chopin Airport, where passengers can use InPost’s service if an item in hand luggage is questioned during security checks.
InPost is a delivery platform for e-commerce. Founded in 1999 by Rafal Brzoska in Poland, InPost has a network of Parcel Machines in Poland, the UK and Italy, and provides courier and fullfilment services to e-commerce sellers in Poland. In July 2021, it finalised the acquisition of French company Mondial Relay. In January 2021, InPost debuted on the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange.
