PGE Energia Odnawialna from the PGE Group has signed contracts for the construction of another 12 one-megawatt photovoltaic farms. They will be launched in the first quarter of 2023. In 2022, PGE Energia Odnawialna is planning to obtain permits for the construction of PV projects with a capacity of approximately 260 MW.

12 one-megawatt photovoltaic installations from PGE Energia Odnawialna will be built in Podlasie, Mazowsze, Podkarpacie and in the Łódź, Opolskie, Dolnośląskie, Wielkopolskie and Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodeships. The farms will be launched in the first quarter of 2023.

PGE emphasizes that they are new PGE photovoltaic investments for which tenders have been launched or settled this year. The company’s largest project is an installation with a capacity of 153 MW, consisting of two wind farms: PV Jeziórko 1 and PV Jeziórko 2. Most of the capacity (100 MW) will be built by the end of 2023 in the Grębów commune in Tarnobrzeg poviat in Podkarpacie.

In total, in 2022, PGE Energia Odnawialna is planning to obtain permits for the construction of PV projects with a capacity of approximately 260 MW. In the following years, when this process accelerates, the company will be able to announce tenders for over 300 MW in solar energy annually.
