According to the data of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, most of the people who come to Poland are citizens of Ukraine. Among the refugees, there are also Poles, as well as citizens of Asian and African countries.<\/p>\n
The Ukrainian ambassador to Poland, Andrii Deshchytsia, thanked the Polish people for helping Ukraine and Ukrainians. \u201cI thank you for deliveries to my country, for help that is offered to my countrymen\u00a0fleeing to Poland; for kindness and warmth. When I think about it, I cannot hide my emotion. Thank you very much, this is something amazing\u201d- said Deshchytsia.<\/p>\n
\u201cI would like to express my gratitude to President Andrzej Duda, who is fully committed to our case and he talks to President Zelensky every day, regardless of the time, even at two in the morning, if necessary\u201d, said the Ukrainian ambassador.<\/p>\n
\u201cPrime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki also does everything possible to help; I can always count on the head of the office of Prime Minister Micha\u0142 Dworczyk. We travel around Poland together and solve theoretically impossible matters – said Ambassador Deshchytsia.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the Polish government has launched a central, government platform for humanitarian aid coordination within the existing website pomagamukrainie.gov.pl.<\/p>\n
\u201cEvery day more and more non-governmental organizations, local governments and people of goodwill join Ukraine to help. The rules of transporting humanitarian aid by trucks have been simplified\u00a0at two checkpoints on the Polish-Ukrainian border: Dorohusk-Jagodzin and Korczowa-Krakowiec\u201d, informed the head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Micha\u0142 Dworczyk.<\/p>\n
Simplified customs clearance is possible on the basis of a completed and sent form. Thanks to this solution, Ukraine will receive humanitarian aid faster from Poland and the entire free world.<\/p>\n
