They are the initial market reactions caused by Russia&#8217;s attack on Ukraine.<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Andrzej Jaworski, the president of the Chamber signed the declaration stating \u201cIn the wake of a bandit attack by Russia on Ukraine, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Food Market has terminated cooperation with companies registered in the territory of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, and is also terminating the so far established business, social and other relations with people from the territory of Russia and Belarus\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moreover, the Chamber appealed to the Polish government &#8220;to cease all business and trade contacts with companies from Belarus and Russia and to introduce an economic embargo on the import of products from Belarus and Russia&#8221;, and to Poles to &#8220;not buy any Belarusian and Russian products&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Patrycja Kami\u0144ska, a press spokesman for Netto Polska informed that as a gesture of solidarity with Ukraine, the retailer decided to immediately withdraw Russian or Belarussian products from sale in its stores. \u201cWe are convinced that this action is an obvious step due to the aggression of Russia on Ukraine and our opposition to it\u201d, said Kami\u0144ska.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Rossmann company does not want to support producers from Russia in any way, whose taxes, supplementing the Russian budget, can also be used for purposes related to the attack on Ukraine &#8211; said Agata Nowakowska, Rossmann&#8217;s spokesman.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rossmann decided to remove 52 products produced directly in Russia from its drugstores (the decisive factor was EAN indicating Russia as the country of origin) and 101 products of the Polish distributor (Natura Siberica brand supplying cosmetics under the license of the Russian company Natura Siberica Ltd).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adrian Andrzejewski<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Food Market Chamber of Commerce and Industry broke off all cooperation with Russian and Belarusian companies, the Netto discount chain withdrew all Russian and Belarussian products, and the Rossmann&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":8860,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_mi_skip_tracking":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[43],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-8940","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-economy"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.4 -
