European Union countries remain major partner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to Director General of the National Support Centre for Agriculture, Henryk Smolarz, in 2023 Polish entrepreneurs sold agri-food goods abroad with a record value of EUR 51.8 billion (PLN 225 billion), i.e. for an amount 8.1 % higher than the year before. The highest revenues were generated from exports of meat and meat products and dairy products.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Poland&#8217;s main trade partner in 2023 was the European Union (EU) countries, to which more than 73 % of exported food products were shipped. Food goods worth \u20ac38 billion were sold on the EU market, representing a 7 % increase compared to 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The largest recipient of Polish food was Germany, where products worth \u20ac13.3 billion were delivered (an increase of 11 %). Other large importers were the Netherlands (\u20ac3.2 billion, up 2 %), France (\u20ac3.0 billion, up 4 %), Italy (\u20ac2.5 billion, up 7 %) and the Czech Republic (\u20ac2.4 billion, up 9 %).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EU countries mainly bought tobacco products (worth \u20ac4.6 billion), poultry meat (\u20ac3.1 billion), dairy products (\u20ac2.2 billion), bread and bakery products (\u20ac2.1 billion), beef (\u20ac1.8 billion), pet food (\u20ac1.7 billion), and chocolate products (\u20ac1.7 billion) from Poland.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Agri-food products worth EUR 13.8 billion were exported from Poland to non-EU countries, (increase of 11 %).
