More than 50 people have already completed internships with US congressmen. Since 2016, Polish students have been travelling to the US and the UK every year, where they have interned in the offices of leading parliamentarians.<\/span><\/p>\n The Transatlantic Future Leaders Forum (TFLF) is a non-governmental organisation whose key project is an internship platform created to enable the most talented Polish students to intern in the offices of legislative representatives in Washington and London. TFLR’s sponsors include companies such as BGK, CEC Group and the Polish Armaments Group, as well as the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in the United States and the Polish-American Freedom Foundation.<\/span><\/p>\n “Thanks to the financial support of our sponsors, we were able to guarantee our interns accommodation for the duration of the internship, cover visa costs, provide free flight tickets and organise meetings around the internship. This allowed everyone to take part in the programme, regardless of their financial situation”, emphasises Rafa\u0142 Libera, CEO of TFLF.<\/span><\/p>\n Every year, the programme has the format of a competition for students, in which a committee selects around 30 people from several hundred applications submitted and invites them to participate in recruitment interviews. After a three-stage recruitment process, the best candidates are recommended to Congress and go on 8-week internships in the US and UK.<\/span><\/p>\n The TFLF internship platform is the only such initiative in the world. Polish students can undertake internships in parliamentary offices in the US and the UK, as well as to meet key politicians, representatives of non-governmental organisations and the business world on two continents.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n During previous iterations of the programme, TFLF interns have visited the headquarters of the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the Pentagon, Chatham House, the Polish Embassy in the US and the UK, Lockheed Martin’s technology centre or Boeing’s Charleston factory.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Adrian Andrzejewski<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" More than 50 people have already completed internships with US congressmen.
