The construction of the terminal will include an installation consisting of several types of tanks and transhipment infrastructure for waterway, road and rail transport.<\/p>\n<p>The terminal will allow storing propane delivered by sea and butane delivered by rail or road. It would also provide further distribution for the purposes of the operations conducted by Orlen.<\/p>\n<p>Jakub Opara, a member of the management board for logistics at Orlen Paliwa, emphasizes that the project has a chance to provide Orlen with access to the global propane market, creating purchasing conditions comparable to the largest players\u2019 possibilities on the European market. The prospect of purchasing amounts several times greater than the current possibilities would guarantee the company a leading position in the distribution of liquefied gas on the domestic market. The investment is also intended to increase the country&#8217;s energy security.<\/p>\n<p>Orlen Paliwa is a company that is 100% dependent on PKN Orlen. It is a leader in the fuel wholesale market in Poland.
