At the same time, he informed that the holiday from ZUS contributions would not affect the pension.<\/h5>\n<p>&#8220;The point is that micro-entrepreneurs, the self-employed could, just like other working people, (because we are talking here about working people), also have the right to a holiday during which they will not be financially burdened with ZUS contribution&#8221;, said the Prime Minister.<\/p>\n<p>He announced quick consultations, so that by the end of March the relevant laws would be submitted to the Sejm. Every micro-entrepreneur, self-employed person and persons conducting business activity will be able to choose one month a year free of ZUS contribution.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It means that entrepreneurs will be able to have this one month a year free of ZUS contribution, and it also means that the state will pay for this month&#8217;s contribution, so that the continuity of the contribution is maintained, so that no one loses out on this leave in the future in terms of their pension&#8221;, Donald Tusk stressed.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, in the list of legislative and programme works of the Council of Ministers, it was reported that the Council of Ministers was planning to adopt a draft act on amending the act on the social insurance system and certain other acts in the first quarter of this year, which would introduce the institution of contribution holidays for entrepreneurs running a one-person business. As reported at the time, the holiday was proposed to be up to 3 months during the calendar year.
