The transaction includes installations located in Wielkopolska and Western Pomerania with a total capacity of approximately 60 MW, which will provide electricity for more than 100,000 households. ORLEN Group already has close to 1GW of installed capacity in renewable energy sources.<\/h5>\n<p>The finalised agreement includes the purchase of two onshore wind farms, which were commissioned in 2022. The first of these is located in Ku\u015blin, near Nowy Tomy\u015bl in the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship. It has 12 Vestas turbines of 3.3 MW each installed and has a total production capacity of around 40 MW. The second farm operates in Krz\u0119cin, near Choszczno in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. The farm consists of 8 Nordex turbines of 2.4 MW each, with a total installed capacity of more than 19 MW.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Ku\u015blin, the company&#8217;s other wind farms are already operating in the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship, including near Dobrzyca (49.9 MW), Ujazd (30 MW), Dominowo (62.4 MW) and in Przykona (approximately 33 MW).<\/p>\n<p>Further investments will be made by Energa Wytwarzanie, which is part of the ORLEN Group, which in July 2023 signed a preliminary agreement with Greenvolt for the Opalenica and Sompolno projects. The first project comprises three photovoltaic farms with a total capacity of 22 MW. The second one is a hybrid project combining 26 MW of wind turbines and a 10 MW photovoltaic installation. Energa&#8217;s plans involve further expansion of the company&#8217;s portfolio with the addition of further photovoltaic farms: PV Mitra (65 MW) and PV \u017buki (2.4 MW).<\/p>\n<p>ORLEN is also investing in the construction of the first offshore wind farm in the Polish part of the Baltic Sea. In October, the company took the final investment decision on the construction of the Baltic Power farm, with a capacity of up to 1.2 GW.
