The most iconic Polish royal residences including the Royal \u0141azienki Museum and the Royal Castle in Warsaw, as well as the Wawel Royal Castle and the King John III Palace Museum in Wilan\u00f3w are participating in the campaign this year. In recent years, this group has been joined by museums in Sandomierz, Lublin and Malbork, which also have castle seats, and the Saltworks Castle in Wieliczka. Since last year, the Royal Castle in Pozna\u0144 and the castles in Kwidzyn and Sztum (branches of the Castle Museum in Malbork) have also made their interiors available for free.<\/p>\n
At the Royal Castle in Warsaw, visitors can explore for free the Royal Route, including: Grand and Royal Suites, the Sejm Rooms and the exhibition “Postcards with a View of the Castle”, as well as see a display of Titian’s painting “Portrait of a Young Man”. It is also possible to visit for free the Suite of Prince J\u00f3zef Poniatowski in the Cooper- Roof Palace, which has recently been showing paintings by the Big Three painters: Fran\u00e7ois G\u00e9rard, Horace Vernet and T\u00e9odore G\u00e9ricault.<\/p>\n
The Royal \u0141azienki Museum provides free admission to the Palace on the Isle with the Royal Picture Gallery, the Old Orangery with the Royal Theatre, the Royal Sculpture Gallery, and the Polish Sculpture Gallery, as well as the My\u015blewicki Palace with its historical polychrome paintings by Jan Bogumi\u0142 Plersch. Admission to the Museum of Hunting and Riding is also free.<\/p>\n
Within the framework of the “Free November” campaign, the Museum of the Palace of King John III in Wilan\u00f3w will also make its collections available. Visitors will be able to see the original baroque palace, the historic gardens and the Wilan\u00f3w park free of charge. This is a good opportunity to look at memorabilia related to its inhabitants, view the collection of European and Far Eastern artworks, and learn about the history and culture of the former Republic of Poland.<\/p>\n
