According to the expert opinion prepared by the Economic Analysis Center Foundation at the request of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, 11.5 million households will benefit from PIT solutions introduced as part of the Polish Deal. The foundation’s analysts calculated that 800\u00a0000 will lose because of the introduced changes. The benefits will be received by about 95% of retirees, including 80% who will gain more than PLN 250 per month.<\/p>\n
Zbigniew Ku\u017amiuk, MEP of Law and Justice emphasizes that 11.5 million families will gain PLN 32 billion from the program. \u201cUntil now, there was a conviction supported by the Ministry of Finance\u2019s information that this entire operation of changing taxes will bring 17 billion. In fact, the least affluent families will receive a huge amount of PLN 32 billion.<\/p>\n
The MEP admitted that a certain part, i.e. 800,000 families will have to pay additionally about PLN 15 billion in the form of health insurance contributions. This is the amount that will be credited to the National Health Fund. Hence Poland has been in a pandemic situation for two years, an increase in spending on health care was demanded and the state budget accepted it, but Ku\u017amiuk said that it is indeed high time to start paying the health insurance fee honestly.<\/p>\n
