This is a typical Innovative System Railway Station, the construction of which was co-financed with European funds from the Infrastructure and Environment programme.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;The opening of the modern railway station in Dobczyna is one of 12 railway station investments implemented with European funding amounting to nearly PLN 30 million, i.e. 70% of the investment value. Thanks to the modernisation, travellers on this route will be able to use an infrastructure that is not only modern, energy-efficient, and accessible to all, but also aesthetically pleasing and comfortable&#8221;, said Angela Martinez-Sarasola, Head of the Polish Department of the Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the EU official, Cohesion Policy is an expression of solidarity with every citizen of the European Union regardless of where they live, and the completed railway station is an example of this initiative.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The station in Dobczyn is fully accessible for people with disabilities. Among other things, there is Braille signage, pathways for the blind and visually impaired, tactile maps and toilets adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The waiting room is equipped with benches, display cabinets, electronic train arrival and departure boards, a voice information system and a clock. It is also fully air-conditioned. There are bicycle racks under the canopy, along with a repair station for bicycles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The building is environmentally friendly and safe. It has 12 photovoltaic panels on its roof. A heat pump is used to heat and cool the building.
