In 2022, the prices of materials in Poland will remain at levels higher than before the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>The baseline scenario assumes that in 2022 material prices in Poland will remain at levels higher than before the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic due to persistent high demand for construction services, record energy prices and rising costs of climate transformation for manufacturers.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, the increasing costs of constructing, as well as rising interest rates in Poland, may force many public and private investors to revise their investment plans. However, this problem should affect large public investments in the area of transport and energy infrastructure\u00a0to a lesser extent.<\/p>\n<p>Everything confirms that in the coming years Poland will remain the largest construction site in Europe. Many road projects commissioned by the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways will enter the implementation phases, and energy investments related to the climate transformation of the Polish economy will accelerate.<\/p>\n<p>According to PZPB experts, the scale of revival in public investment will be strictly dependent on the inflow of EU funds.
