The estimated investment outlay is around PLN 600 million. The company has signed an agreement with the local government of Stalowa Wola and the operator of the Park. This will be another large-scale installation of renewable energy sources in the Podkarpacie region.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The energy produced by the planned installations will be used for the needs of the city and the companies operating in the Park and the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Today&#8217;s agreement is another example of model cooperation between the local self-government and PGE. At the beginning of the year, we started the construction of the largest grid connection in our history for the Strategic Investment Park Euro-Park Stalowa Wola, and now we are planning joint investments in renewable energy sources. All of this will result in more green energy going into the grid, and a modern distribution network will ensure a more reliable supply of cheaper energy for our customers&#8221;, says Wojciech D\u0105browski, President of the Polish Energy Group.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The PGE Group will be provided with more than 70 hectares of land on which to set up photovoltaic farms with 70 MW of installed capacity. In addition, the construction of 5-7 wind turbines of up to 4 MW each, energy storage facilities of up to 30 MWh capacity and a service centre are also planned.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Strategic Investment Park Euro-Park Stalowa Wola has already attracted its first investors. The largest is the South Korean company SK Nexilis, which will build a PLN 3 billion factory for copper foils used in electric car batteries. The next is Huta Stalowa Wola, owned by the Polish Armaments Group, which is expanding its capacity due to increasing orders from the Ministry of National Defence.
