The new investments will create at least 40,645 new jobs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Polish Investment Zone is the main instrument for supporting investment in Poland. It guarantees a steady flow of new ventures throughout the country and ensures the creation of new jobs. The results of the PSI clearly show that entrepreneurs are keen to use it. &#8220;The 2,015 decisions issued represent an average of 37 decisions with a declaration to create 771 new jobs per month&#8221;, informs Minister of Development and Technology Waldemar Buda.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As Minister Buda emphasised, the PSI allows for both large investment projects and offers support to micro and small enterprises. In this way, it allows for sustainable economic development of the entire country.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deputy Minister for Development and Technology Grzegorz Piechowiak pointed out that last year brought 447 decisions on support. &#8220;This is a really good result. The war in Ukraine had a huge impact on economies around the world. PSI has allowed entrepreneurs to invest with relief, despite the difficult economic situation around the world&#8221;, added Grzegorz Piechowiak.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Polish Investment Zone was established under the Act of 10 May 2018 on supporting new investments. As a result, as of 5 September 2018, tax exemptions are available throughout the country and not, as previously, only in Special Economic Zones (SEZs). From 1 January 2019, new investments can already be located only in PSI. However, SEZs play a key role in the PSI system, managing the different parts of the system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second instrument providing support for new investments is the Programme for the Support of Investments of Significant Importance for the Polish Economy. The programme can be used to subsidise large strategic investments as well as medium-sized innovative projects.
