{"id":41863,"date":"2023-02-27T12:25:06","date_gmt":"2023-02-27T11:25:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dignitynews.eu\/?p=41863"},"modified":"2023-02-27T12:25:06","modified_gmt":"2023-02-27T11:25:06","slug":"rising-number-of-electric-passenger-car-registrations-and-charging-infrastructure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dignitynews.eu\/en\/rising-number-of-electric-passenger-car-registrations-and-charging-infrastructure\/","title":{"rendered":"Rising number of electric passenger car registrations and charging infrastructure"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the Electromobility Counter, launched and updated by the Polish Alternative Fuels Association (PSPA) and the Polish Automotive Industry Association (PZPM, the number of registrations of electric passenger cars and plug-in hybrids in Poland increased by 46 % year-on-year to 2,115 vehicles in January 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to data from the end of January 2023, a total of 67 097 passenger and commercial electric cars were registered in Poland. In the first month of 2023, their number increased by 2 376 units, 56 % more than in the same period of 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the end of January 2023, 63 701 electric passenger cars were on Polish roads. Fully electric cars accounted for 32 555 units of this part of the vehicle fleet (51 %), with the remainder being plug-in hybrids &#8211; 31 146 units. (49 %). The electric van and truck fleet comprised 3,396 units. The fleet of electric mopeds and motorbikes also continues to grow, with 16,416 units at the end of January.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The charging infrastructure is also developing in Poland. At the end of January 2023, there were 2 612 publicly accessible charging stations for electric vehicles (5 139 points). 29 % of them were fast direct current (DC) chargers, and 71 % &#8211; slow alternating current (AC) chargers with a capacity of 22 kW or less. In January, 57 new public charging stations (123 points) were launched.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the opinion of PZPM President Jakub Farys, the European Parliament&#8217;s decision on CO2 reduction for passenger vehicles and vans and the European Commission&#8217;s proposal for heavy goods vehicles reassures the automotive industry that 2035 will be the cut-off year since when it will not be possible to register vehicles other than battery- and hydrogen-powered passenger vehicles and vans, and the CO2 reduction for heavy vehicles must be 65%.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to the Electromobility Counter, launched and updated by the Polish Alternative Fuels Association (PSPA) and the Polish Automotive Industry Association (PZPM, the number of registrations of electric passenger cars&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":41834,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_mi_skip_tracking":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[43],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-41863","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-economy"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.4 -
