As it announces it will use all the funds at its disposal in this perspective.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under the Program, the Directorate of National Roads and Motorways has already contracted 95 % of the allocation in signed funding agreements for 80 road projects. The last projects are in the evaluation stage. More than 91 % of available EU funds have already been allocated. The National Road Fund has already received more than PLN 40.2 billion in reimbursements for road construction expenses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment 2021-2027 (FEnIKS) program was approved by the European Commission on October 6, 2022. Like its predecessor (OPI&amp;E), it is the largest program in the entire European Union &#8211; both in terms of allocation and number of development priorities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Road investments carried out by the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways are financed on an ongoing basis with funds from the National Road Fund (KFD). After signing a contract for funding from the European Funds pool, the expenses incurred (after verification by the Center for EU Transport Projects) are reimbursed to the KFD.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2023 is the last year in which projects under the OPI&amp;E can be settled. Those road investments whose implementation process will not be completed in the current year will have the status of phased projects. This is a completely natural process, resulting from the cycle of work on a particular investment and not affecting its implementation.
