{"id":41004,"date":"2023-02-16T14:05:02","date_gmt":"2023-02-16T13:05:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dignitynews.eu\/?p=41004"},"modified":"2023-02-16T14:05:02","modified_gmt":"2023-02-16T13:05:02","slug":"excellent-export-performance-of-polish-agri-food-products","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dignitynews.eu\/en\/excellent-export-performance-of-polish-agri-food-products\/","title":{"rendered":"Excellent export performance of Polish agri-food products"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2022, the value of total exports of agri-food goods from Poland amounted to EUR 47.6 billion (PLN 223 billion) and was 26.7 % higher than in 2021. &#8220;This is a great success of Polish farmers and exporters&#8221;, said Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Henryk Kowalczyk.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The head of the agriculture ministry pointed out that very good results were achieved in foreign trade in agri-food products despite a very difficult, specific year, namely the year of war in Ukraine as a result of the Russian invasion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">74 % of the value of Poland&#8217;s agricultural exports is allocated to EU countries, with Germany remaining the main recipient with \u20ac11.9 billion. Last year, there was a 25 % increase in the value of exports to this country, followed by the Netherlands &#8211; EUR 3.1 billion, an increase of 37 %. A similar increase in the value of exports, of 35 %, occurred in the case of France &#8211; EUR 2.9 billion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Our main exports to EU countries were poultry meat, dairy products and beef&#8221;, the Deputy Prime Minister said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Agri-food products worth EUR 12.3 billion (PLN 58 billion) were exported to non-EU countries &#8211; a 20% increase in the value of exports. The main products were dairy products &#8211; EUR 1.0 billion, poultry meat &#8211; EUR 990 million, wheat &#8211; EUR 776 million, chocolate and chocolate products &#8211; EUR 733 million, bread and bakery products &#8211; EUR 731 million.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Significant recipients of agri-food goods in third countries, as in previous years, were mainly: United Kingdom &#8211; \u20ac3.7 billion, up 25%; Ukraine &#8211; \u20ac945 million, up 16%; United States &#8211; \u20ac770 million, up 26%.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Poland exported products worth \u20ac439 million to Israel, but there the increase was as much as 50%.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adrian Andrzejewski<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0In 2022, the value of total exports of agri-food goods from Poland amounted to EUR 47.6 billion (PLN 223 billion) and was 26.7 % higher than in 2021. &#8220;This is&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":40967,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_mi_skip_tracking":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[43],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-41004","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-economy"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.4 -
