This is the largest onshore RES investment in the company&#8217;s history and at the same time one of the largest wind farms in Poland.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">D\u0119bsk Wind Farm is Polenergia&#8217;s eleventh onshore wind power plant. It consists of 55 V110-2.2 type turbines with a total capacity of 121 MW. The estimated annual production of FW D\u0119bsk will be approximately 366 GWh, which corresponds to the annual electricity demand of 183,000 households.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;We are proud to add FW D\u0119bsk to our active projects and enhance our green generation capacity, making Polenergia a leader in the New Power Industry. We understand it as a system of innovative solutions based on technologically advanced zero-emission energy sources and innovative products created in accordance with the Energy 2051 standard that we are developing. This is our big day and a joint success of the entire Polenergia team, which with each new investment commissioned shows that it does not lack consistency and determination in action&#8221;, says Polenergia CEO Dr Micha\u0142 Michalski.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Construction of the largest investment in Polenergia&#8217;s history began in mid-2020 &#8211; eight weeks after the Group&#8217;s new strategy was announced. Difficult times of pandemic, the unfavourable macroeconomic environment did not affect the project for a moment. The banks&#8217; readiness to finance it confirmed Polenergia&#8217;s high rating as a good and reliable business partner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The realisation of FW D\u0119bsk will enable the avoidance of atmospheric emissions of up to 318,000 tonnes of CO2, 299 tonnes of SO2, 302 tonnes of NOx, 106 tonnes of CO and 18 tonnes of dust per year.
