{"id":39832,"date":"2023-02-02T20:13:01","date_gmt":"2023-02-02T19:13:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dignitynews.eu\/?p=39832"},"modified":"2023-02-02T20:13:01","modified_gmt":"2023-02-02T19:13:01","slug":"polish-president-visiting-riga-a-special-criminal-court-must-be-established-to-try-russian-crimes-in-ukraine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dignitynews.eu\/en\/polish-president-visiting-riga-a-special-criminal-court-must-be-established-to-try-russian-crimes-in-ukraine\/","title":{"rendered":"Polish President visiting Riga: A special Criminal Court must be established to try Russian crimes in Ukraine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Polish President Andrzej Duda with the President of the Republic of Latvia Egils Levits discussed security and the strengthening of NATO&#8217;s eastern flank, support for Ukraine, as well as bilateral relations and infrastructure development during their meeting in Riga.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;The main part of the discussion concerned the security of our countries, how we build this security and activities in connection with the NATO summit in Vilnius &#8211; what we should strive for before and during the summit&#8221;, Andrzej Duda said during the joint conference with the Latvian leader.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He pointed out that with the Latvian President he discussed strengthening the security of our countries and citizens, including infrastructural security.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8216;The war in Ukraine shows how important it is to have immediate access to modern military infrastructure in order to stop the enemy,&#8217; the Polish President said, adding that action within NATO is primarily preventive.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Andrzej Duda stressed that Poland and Latvia have a policy of continuous support for Ukraine.\u00a0 &#8220;The Ukrainian army must receive enough equipment from us to be able to stop this offensive and then repel the Russian army in order to regain the territories occupied by Russia.
